KTR: BJP's Policies Led To The Economic Crisis

KT Rama Rao came out all guns blazing against the BJP, stating that no amount of spin and sophistry by union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can conceal the central government's failed economic policies, empty promises, and facts that have had a disastrous impact on the country's economy.
According to Rama Rao, the Centre should focus on taming inflation and implementing measures to alleviate the pain of common people instead of making excuses and self-adulation.
In a statement, the minister attacked the Central government for its flawed policies and referred to the union Finance Minister's statement in Parliament as a crude joke on millions of Indians who were suffering from the mismanagement of the economy by the 'NPA' government.
According to him, the BJP government's lopsided economic policies had resulted in an unprecedented economic crisis, resulting in massive job losses and income erosion for the first time since Independence.
Nirmala Sitharaman's comments about inflation and its impact on the common man are totally false. Her claim that GST collections had increased indicates the indifference of the Modi regime towards people's suffering," he said.
He said the constant rise in prices of essential commodities was hurting the common man.
Rama Rao said the Central government could not ignore undeniable facts, such as the all-time low slump of the Indian rupee against the US dollar, the highest unemployment rate in 45 years, and the highest inflation rate in 30 years.
"Due to the flawed policies of the Central government, several eminent economists are quitting government posts," he added.
