Karthi's Thambi/Donga First Look!

Karthi has recently tasted a blockbuster through his recent film Khaidi. The film in both Tamil and Telugu languages has become a super hit. Besides the Tamil audience, Telugu people loved the sentiment and seriousness in the film. Though there are no commercial elements like lead actress and songs, the film has grabbed the attention of the audience for it's emotional and story. The sentimental scenes between Karthi and his daughter are the highlight of the film.

Karthi has already signed for another film and it is titled 'Thambi' in Tamil and 'Donga' in Telugu. And now, the first look of the movie is released which is decent. We can see Karthi and Jyothika in the pic, looking very serious. Releasing the pics, makers have announced that the teaser will be released today at 11.00 AM! Ever since the news was out, Karthi fans are eagerly waiting to watch it. Filmmaker Jeethu Joseph who earlier directed Drishyam is directing this film.

Viacom 18 Studios and Parallel Minds are producing the film jointly while Govinda Vasantha is composing the music. Tamil Nadu theatrical rights were bought by Shakti Film Factory and it seems Telugu rights were not yet sold. However, makers are confident that they can get a whopping amount from Telugu distributors too, as Karthi's recent flick Khaithi has become a hit. Donga is slated for a release on December 20th.
