MS Dhoni To Turn Organic Farmer
MS Dhoni has stayed away from cricket since India’s 2019 World Cup exit in the semi-finals. But all the stir around him has not stopped ‘Captain Cool’ from keeping himself busy with some interesting off the field activities.
On Wednesday, Dhoni shared a video on his Facebook page where he was seen doing organic farming of Papaya and Watermelon in the field. He captioned, “Start of organic farming of watermelon in Ranchi followed by papaya in 20 days time. First time so very excited”.
In the video, Dhoni was seen with some of his close friends sowing seeds after performing puja with incense and breaking the coconut. Around 3,100 people shared Dhoni’s post and 2,200 people commented on it.
Many netizens had lauded Dhoni for opting for organic farming rather than going with chemicals and fertilizers. Some even thanked him for doing such amazing good work which could benefit the public.
MS Dhoni is gearing up for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) from March 2. The 13th edition of IPL begins with the epic clash between CSK and defending champions Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on March 29.
