Man’s Marriage Proposal Shows Up On Google Maps

A German man, Steffen Schwarz, had his best of the day when he found out that his marriage proposal has been captured by Google maps and the image has been intensively shared on social media.

32-year-old part-time farmer Steffen Schwarz used a machine to plant a field of corn in such a way that the gaps spelled out the words “Willst du michheiraten” which in English translates to “Will you marry me?”

Then he, along with his girlfriend, flew a drone over the field, to which she said yes. On being interviewed, he said that he didn’t expect his proposal to get noticed by the Google maps and get viral.

Schwarz got the idea for his proposal after planting a corn maze for someone else. The areas that spell out the proposal have no corn, while the rest of the field was full of it. The couple plan to marry in June, according to a local German news outlet.
