Many Rejected Bimbisara, Only He Accepted

The Telugu fantasy drama Bimbisara acted by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is running successfully at the box office and This movie is winning the hearts of the audiences. Nandamuri Kalyanram was not hero for the movie as per the director’s first choice for the titular role in ‘Bimbisara’. Reportedly, Mallidi Vassishta’s first choice for the role was none other than Nithiin.

However, he rejected the bimbisara offer due to his busy schedule. The sources says that 4 Telugu heroes of tollywood – Nithiin , Raj Tharun, Allari Naresh and Ram Pothineni had rejected this film Bimbisara and later the project fell in the bucket of Kalyan Ram.

After Nithiin rejected this movie, Mallidi Vassishta approached Ram Pothineni, who is best known for playing the lead roles movies in Red, iSmart Shankar, Nenu Sailaja, Kandireega, Ready and Devadasu etc. However, he rejected the role to play the role of a king claiming that it doesn’t suit him.

Later the director met Allu Sirish. The actor did not agree to do the king character as he didn’t find the script very appealing. As it is also known that Allu Sirish is still struggling very hard in the film industry. Next Mallidi Vassishta also met the young actor Raj Tharun to act as the King Bimbisara. He rejected the offer because the role didn’t impress him at all. But finally, when Mallidi Vassishta narrated the script of bimbisara to Kalyan Ram, the Nandamuri hero accepted bimbisara and finally successfully running in theaters.
