Microsoft CEO's Wife Donates 2cr To KCR

Anupama Venugopal Nadella, the wife of Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, has announced that she will donate Rs 2 Cr as she joined hands to battle the coronavirus outbreak.
Anupama decided to help with the supply of basic essential commodities to the needy people during the lockdown period. A cheque of Rs 2 Cr was handed over to Telangana CM KCR by her father KR Venugopal, who was a former Indian Administrative Service officer.
Telangana BJP MLA Raja Singh has also promised to donate his two months salary, which is about Rs 5 lakh. Other leaders such as TRS legislators Tandur MLA Rohit Reddy have donated one month's salary. Telangana CMO official declared that these donations would be used under government initiatives to help the needy citizens during the lockdown period.
It was earlier reported that the young actor Nithiin has also handed over a cheque for Rs 10 lakh to CM KCR recently. Leaders of JAC of State Govt Employees Mamatha and K Ravinder Reddy met KCR and presented a cheque of Rs 48 Cr which is the one day’s salary of state government teachers and employees. These donations will be beneficial during lockdowns.
