Mumbai Rains: Alia's Reaction On Estranged Dog!
Mumbai rains have created havoc this year. Not only humans but animals have to suffer a lot. When a young male dog tried to seek shelter from the rain in Worli-based building, he was brutally thrashed. The dog is battling for his life.
This incident has created a wave of anger among animal activists and they have filed an FIR against the accused persons at Worli police station.
Activist Vijay Mohanani, founder of Bombay Animal Rights (BAR) said, “The injured dog received serious multiple injuries after he was attacked by the guards of Turf View building on 24th July. The CCTV camera captured this act of cruelty. However, the accused were released from the police station, 20 minutes after completing formalities. This shows we need to strengthen our animal rights laws.”
Even many celebrities condemned this brutal act and called it heart-breaking. Alia Bhatt took to her Twitter handle and expressed her thoughts on this incident.
Such cruelty is heartbreaking and we need to prevent such incidents by creating awareness among the people we live with. Let's allow strays to take shelter in our buildings when it rains and make this the last incident of its kind. https://t.co/SPDKUaheMc
