Naga Babu gets trolled for his response to SPB's comments

Musician SP Balasubramanyam and actor-producer Naga Babu are currently hitting the news and has been the latest talks in media. This has been due to the recent remarks of SPB in an event organized by a private channel.

SPB made a statement on costumes of current day heroines. He said, “A heroine doesn't even have basic knowledge of what to wear and what not to wear for a public event. Are her revealing costumes meant to titillate the directors and actors at the venue? I don't care if any heroine is hurt by this statement. They need to realise they're public figures and have a social responsibility.”

Expectedly, his comments had sparked a row. Women’s associations have slammed him. Naga Babu has joined the chorus. Naga Babu asked Balu why is he looking at women “in that way”? He said, “What a heroine or a woman wears is her prerogative. Why should someone decide it for her? A man who sets out to molest/rape doesn’t even care if she wears a sari or any revealing costume.”

Although Naga Babu took the side of the women he was being trolled rather than being appreciated probably because of his earlier comments on actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna.
