Nara Lokesh Halts Yuva Galam Padayatra, Eyes Strategic Political Moves
Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has temporarily suspended his Yuva Galam Padayatra until December 7 due to adverse weather conditions caused by a cyclone. He announced his decision to resume the yatra from Seelamvaripakala village in Kakinada district. This marks the second interruption in his padayatra since its launch.
Lokesh's first hiatus came on September 9 when his father and TDP chief, N. Chandrababu Naidu, was arrested in a skill development case. During that period, Lokesh spent time in Vijayawada and Rajamahendravaram, where his father was detained. He also traveled to Delhi to consult with senior Supreme Court advocates regarding his father's case.
Now, with elections rapidly approaching and just three months remaining for the state polls, Lokesh is strategically planning his political moves. He aims to conclude his Yuva Galam padayatra in Visakhapatnam, altering his initial plan to end it in Itchapuram of Srikakulam district. His decision reflects the evolving political landscape and his commitment to active involvement in candidate selection for the 2024 general election.
Furthermore, Lokesh intends to actively engage in electoral collaborations with the Jana Sena party, attending coordination meetings and playing a pivotal role in shaping the TDP's election strategy. His calculated moves indicate a dynamic political landscape as Andhra Pradesh gears up for the forthcoming polls.
