Neeraj Chopra Classic Rescheduled to July 5 in Bengaluru

The prestigious Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 will now be held on July 5 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, JSW Sports announced on Tuesday. Originally set for May 24, the event was postponed due to security concerns and in solidarity with national events.
This international javelin competition, named after India’s Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, is the country’s first of its kind. Organized by JSW Sports in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), the event promises to spotlight India on the global athletics map.
Karan Yadav, Chief Commercial Officer of JSW Sports, expressed pride in the event’s swift return. “We’re excited to deliver a bolder, better, and unforgettable javelin experience,” he said.
Tickets, available via the District app by Zomato, range from ₹199 to ₹9,999. Premium corporate boxes, accommodating 15 guests, are priced at ₹44,999, while Visa credit cardholders receive a 10% discount. Spectators can also opt for prime viewing spots near the thrower’s runway at ₹9,999 or behind it in the North Upper Stand for ₹2,999.
The Neeraj Chopra Classic is a World Athletics-sanctioned Gold event and will showcase top global javelin athletes. With seating for over 12,000 fans, this competition is poised to become a landmark moment in Indian athletics.
