New Helpline Numbers for Senior Citizens and Differently Abled Launched in Telangana

These tough times of crisis and lockdown norms could be really harsh on certain age groups of people. So as to help and ensure special care for senior citizens and differently abled, Telangana government have launched new helpline numbers for them.

The senior citizen helpline number could be reached at 14567 while differently abled persons can contact toll-free number 1800 572 8980. The helplines will remain open between 8 am and 7 pm on all seven days of a week.

As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases continue to surge in the state, government has gathered more attention to help poor and different sections of society.

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has also announced to increase the lockdown period to 7^th May in Telangana and without any relaxation in the state, he makes sure that the lockdown 2.0 is more strict and law-abiding.

Meanwhile, the number of cases in the state rose to 844 with death tally still at 18 as of now.
