Nine Telangana Assembly seats will be contested by AIMIM
Nine seats will be contested by the All India Majlis-e-IttehadulMuslimeen in the impending elections for the Telangana State Legislative Assembly.
The party has already secured electoral victories in 2018, including the constituencies of Nampally, Malakpet, Chandrayangutta, Yakutpura, Bahadurpura, Charminar, and Karwan. Additionally, it will run in Rajendranagar and Jubilee Hills.
AsaduddinOwaisi, the president of AIMIM, unveiled the candidates for six constituencies on Friday.
Charminar – Zulfiqar Ali
Chandrayangutta – AkbaruddinOwaisi.
Malakpet – Ahmed Balala
Nampally – Majid Hussain
Karwan – KauserMohiuddin
Yakutpura – Jaffar Hussain Meraj
On Saturday, the candidate lists for Rajendranagar, Jubilee Hills, and Bahadurpura will be released.
Two veterans, Ahmed Pasha Quadri and Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, have been replaced by two newcomers, according to Asaduddin, and both have gladly made way for their successors.
