PM Modi Launches Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme In Gorakhpur

The center had announced the PM-KISAN scheme in the 2019-20 Interim Budget. This programme will pay 12 crore small and marginal farmers holding cultivable land with a maximum of two hectares a sum of 6000Rs in three installments per year.

These funds will be directly transferred into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

At the Kumbh, he will participate in the Swachh Kumbh Swachh Aabhaarr event, organized by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. PM will distribute the Swachh Kumbh Swachh Aabhar awards to Sanitation employees, police personnel and boatmen. There will also be a possibility of announcing Swachh Seva Samman Benefits package, followed by addressing the gathering according to the statement released from the Prime Ministers office.

Modi will take bath at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj and also interact with sanitation employees. Cleanliness and Swachh Bharat initiatives were given unprecedented focus in Kumbh organized at Prayagraj this year. The Prime minister by presenting the Swachh Kumbh Swachh Aabhar awards will honor those who have played a vital role in ensuring a Swachh Kumbh, the statement added.
