PM Modi’s 3-Day Tour to Launch Major Projects Across 5 States

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a three-day tour covering Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar from September 13, with the goal of launching multi-crore projects and participating in significant national events.
The visit begins in Mizoram’s capital Aizawl, where the PM will inaugurate projects worth over ₹9,000 crore. Highlights include the Bairabi-Sairang New Rail Line, a ₹8,070 crore project that connects Mizoram to the national railway network for the first time. Modi will also flag off three new trains, including a Rajdhani Express linking Aizawl to Delhi. Road infrastructure projects such as the Aizawl Bypass and Thenzawl-Sialsuk Road will also be launched.
In Manipur, he will lay the foundation for projects worth ₹7,300 crore at Churachandpur, followed by inaugurations in Imphal worth ₹1,200 crore. His two-day visit to Assam will be marked by the centenary celebration of Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika, where Modi will release a commemorative coin and biography. The event will also feature a musical tribute by 1,200 artistes.
On September 14, Modi will visit Mangaldoi to launch healthcare projects, including the Darrang Medical College, valued at ₹567 crore. He will also lay the foundation for the Guwahati Ring Road and the Narengi-Kuruwa bridge, part of a ₹7,000 crore investment. At Numaligarh refinery, he will inaugurate a ₹5,000 crore ethanol plant and other petrochemical facilities.
His tour will conclude in Kolkata on September 15, where he will inaugurate the Combined Commanders’ Conference. Later, in Bihar, he will inaugurate Purnea airport’s new terminal and development projects worth ₹36,000 crore, including the launch of the National Makhana Board.
The ambitious tour underscores Modi’s focus on connectivity, infrastructure, and cultural legacy, blending development with national pride.
