Pawan Kalyan criticises the police for obstructing Naidu's visit to the East Godavari

Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Jana Sena, staged a sit-in on the road in protest of the police stopping Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP, from visiting the East Godavari area. In a statement, Pawan Kalyan expressed amazement at what he had seen, saying that during the YSRCP's reign in Balabhadrapuram, police personnel were seated in front of Chandrababu's procession.
Pawan Kalyan stated that Chandrababu had the right to travel as the leader of a political party since he is a well-known individual, and he questioned how this could be prevented.
In addition, Pawan Kalyan criticised how the government handled the circumstance, noting occasions in which he had experienced similar treatment. In Visakhapatnam, he spoke of an incident where the lights were turned out during his Janavani performance and he was held in the hotel. He also discussed how the government had forbidden him from going to the village of Ippatam to visit the people who had been affected by the demolitions, and he questioned why the administration was so terrified of the voice of the opposition.
Further criticising the government for its disregard for constitutional principles, such as freedom of speech and expression, Pawan Kalyan claimed that Chandrababu's detention was proof of the government's lack of respect for these principles.
