Prabhas Pens Emotional Note Thanking Fans For Saaho Success
After two years, Prabhas is finally back on the silver screen with the biggest Indian movie of the year, Saaho. Directed by Sujeeth, the film was in the making for the past two years, and it has released across the globe in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Saaho has been making all the right noises since the release of its trailer. The film, which has been produced by UV Creations, was predominantly shot abroad on a whopping budget and featured large scale action sequences. One of the major schedules of the film was shot in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. On Twitter, Umair wrote, "First Review #Saaho from UAE Censor Board! , if you are looking high-octane action scenes, sleek visuals, melodious music and if you love masala movies, then #SaahoOnAugust30 should definitely be your pick for the weekend. #Prabhas is India Biggest STAR Now (sic)." Going by the social media buzz, the first half of Saaho has turned out to be a dull affair. However, the film has made up for it with incredible action sequences and a huge twist in the story.
Actor Prabhas on Thursday thanked his fans and audiences for their incredible response and appreciation for Saaho, via a post on his Instagram page. "To my beloved fans and audience. Thank you for all your unconditional love for Saaho. This film is what it is because of the sheer appreciation and incredible response you all have given".
Along with the post, Prabhas also shared a poster which confirms that the film has grossed over Rs 350 crore worldwide and still counting. Saaho becomes the third consecutive Rs 300 crore grosser for Prabhas after Baahubali 1 and Baahubali 2. Saaho was made on a budget of close to Rs 350 crore. In order to break even, the film needs to collect at least Rs 600 crore.
