Ram Charan Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Mega Power Star Ram Charan has been tested positive for COVID 19. This news was confirmed by the actor himself on Twitter by sharing a post on his account. He announced on social media that he has tested positive and he underwent testing as part of safety protocol and said that inspite of testing positive he has no symptoms and so he has quarantined himself.

Earlier, this month the actor had flown to Udaipur to take part in the wedding of his cousin sister Niharika and Chaitanya. Later he along with his wife Upasana Konidela also hosted a grand Christmas party for all the Mega cousins, which is doing rounds on social media.

Ram Charan requested everyone who has been around him for the past couple of days to get tested for COVID 19. Previously, Megastar Chiranjeevi had also tested positive for Coronavirus due to a faulty kit.

On the professional front, Ram Charan is essaying a crucial role in his father Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Ram Charan under the banner of ‘Konidela Production Company’, the shoot has been stopped in the month of March due to the pandemic and the lockdown. Recently the makers of the film resumed the shoot and Ram Charan was about to join the sets from next month.
