Re-polling at two places of AP

Faulty EVMs has created a lot of headache to the election commission this time. AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has slammed EC for the fault recently.

Now, EC decided to conduct re-polling in two places in Guntur district. The 244th polling booth of Guntur West constituency and 94th polling booth of Narsaraopet will go for voting again.

The 244th polling booth of Guntur West is Nalla Cheruvu on the polling day showed the records that 300 people who were standing in the queue were given slips but there were 30 additional votes.

In the 94th polling booth, the voting could not take place because of clashes between TDP and YSR Congress party.

The re-polling dates are yet to be announced. Meanwhile, the EVMs are moved to strong rooms and the police have arranged three-layered tight security for them.
