Remembering Jayalalitha On Her Death Anniversary, Kangana Shares Few Stills
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who in her upcoming movie Thalaivi, is playing the role of the late actress and political stalwart J Jayalalithaa, on Saturday remembered the late politician on her death anniversary.
Kangana Ranaut marked the day by tweeting a few images from her film featuring herself and some other characters, she shared the post and captioned the images as "On the death anniversary of Jaya Amma, sharing some working stills from our film Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader". Kangana thanked the team of the movie including the director A L Vijay for working like a superhuman to complete the film. "All thanks to my team, especially the leader of our team Vijay sir who is working like a superhuman to complete the film, just one more week to go," she further wrote.
In the stills, Kangana is seen as the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in a white saree with red and black borders.
The upcoming film, Thalaivi is written by writer K V Vijayendra Prasad Rajat Arora. The release date of the film has not yet decided due to the coronavirus pandemic.
