Review of Kushi: Not very magical

After Mahanati, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha collaborated once more for the Shiva Nirvana-directed film Kushi. The movie was just released today, and there are a lot of expectations. Watch the movie to discover how it turned out.
Movie Kushi
Star Cast Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha
Director Shiva Nirvana
Producer Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar
Music Hesham Abdul Wahab
Story:
As part of his work, Viplav travels to Kashmir, where he encounters Ara(dhya) Begum, whom he mistakenly believes to be a Muslim. He quickly learns, nevertheless, that she is Aaradhya, a devoted Brahmin. As they become romantically involved, they learn that their fathers are business rivals. The two get married in spite of this and the fact that Aaradhya's father has his own requirements and has previously rejected the union. After that, their marriage issues begin. The rest of the article explains what these issues are and how they are resolved.
On Screen Performances:
When it comes to his appearance or performance, Vijay Deverakonda does not dissapoint. When it comes to his appearance, this is possibly his best. On the screen, he is incredibly attractive, and his acting is also fairly good. He brilliantly captures all of Viplav's feelings. As per usual, Samantha performs to the best of her ability. She is comparable to Vijay, and the two of them work well together. She certainly look good, but this is not the best she has ever looked. Murali Sharma, Sachin, and the rest of the supporting characters in the film all do a wonderful job in their respective parts and provide a little lightheartedness as well. They all contribute in some way to the advancement of the story.
Off Screen Talents:
Although it would be expected that the director, Shiva Nirvana, would choose a more interesting and original approach to telling his story given the subject matter, he doesn't. The action moves rather slowly during the first half, which drags a lot.
When it comes to pacing, the second half is superior to the first, but overall, the film might have been much sharper. Another serious problem with the movie is how infrequently it contains feel-good scenes. The film's strongest support system is its music, which rookie Hesham Abdul Wahab provides on his Kushi album.
He is also highly talented when it comes to the movie's background music. The film also benefits from the cinematography, which depicts some settings in the most spectacular ways possible. The film's production values are excellent, however considering how long the run time and lag times are, the editing might have been much better.
Plus Points:
Vijay and Samantha’s performances
Music
Cinematography
Minus Points:
Lag in both halves
Just a few feel-good moments
Not much entertainment
Verdict:
Kushi is a mediocre romantic comedy drama that would have succeeded much more effectively if the production values and running duration had been higher. The screenplay and writing should have received more attention from the director to make it even more sharp.
