Royal Enfield launched the new Hunter 350 in Telangana. It's designed for riders who like the Royal Enfield legacy but do not like the weight and stance of the existing models; powered by a 350 cc engine, it's shorter.
For Royal Enfield, Telangana is a key market with a substantial customer base in the roadster segment. V Jayapradeep, Head- of Business Markets India and SAARC, says many riders use Royal Enfield models for daily commutes and weekend rides.
On a query, if the new low-priced version would cannibalize its other segments, Hunter 350 was opening up new audiences for Royal Enfield in the state. The bike is available for test rides and bookings in Telangana, and he said there is no waiting period.
Royal Enfield's technology centers in India and the UK conceived and developed the Hunter. Harris Performance chassis experts are used. Colour options include Rebel Black, Rebel Blue, Rebel Red, Dapper Ash, Dapper Grey, Factory Black, Dapper White, and Factory Silver.
The Hunter 350 starts at Rs 1,49,900 for the Factory series, Rs 1,63,900 for the Dapper Series, and Rs 1,67,757 for the Rebel series (ex-showroom, Telangana).
