Saaho's Whopping $110K Collection In Japan

After delivering a successful Baahubali franchise, Prabhas came up with action thriller drama Saaho that was directed by Sujeeth Reddy. Though it’s Telugu version was a dud at the box office but Hindi version of Saaho was a hit. Now Prabhas starrer Saaho has created a record in Japan.

Japan is one of the very few countries that has reopened the theatres during these pandemic times. Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho are said to have created a new benchmark in terms of opening collections in Japan for an Indian movie. After Baahubali, Prabhas has not only acquired craze all around India but has also succeeded in gaining fans across the world. And Japan is one of them. The theatres in Japan have reopened just a few days ago and Prabhas’s movie Saaho is now being screened in Japan.

Saaho has become the highest opener with $110K for an Indian film by surpassing the Hindi movie, Dangal starring Aamir Khan. Prabhas starrer Sahoo also managed to find a place among the top 5 all-time grosses in Japan. The other movies ahead of Sahoo are English Vinglish, 3 Idiots, Muthu, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Prabhas is currently busy with Radhe Shyam under the direction of Jil fame Radha Krishna. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in this movie.
