Samantha Akkineni Shares A Memorable Picture With KCR

Samantha Akkineni is undoubtedly the actress of this decade in Tollywood. She made her debut in 2010 with Gautham Menon's Telugu romantic film 'Ye Maaya Chesave' and soon became a star heroine. Later, she went on act with all the stars of Telugu and Tamil industries.

She got married to Naga Chaitanya in 2017 and this year, she scored three hits with Majili, Super Deluxe, and Oh Baby. By this, the actress proved that marriage cannot stop her from being a star and delivering hits.

For her immense service towards the film industry for the last 10 years, the TV9 group awarded her an honorary prize at Nava Nakshatra Sanmanam 2019. What made it more special is that the actress received this award from Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR).

Samantha was overwhelmed to receive the award from CM, KCR. She shared the news on Instagram and posted her picture of receiving the award and wrote, "Fan girl moment. award from KCR. #CM #KCR #Telangana."

She also runs the NGO Pratysuha Organisation, to help the kids. On the work front, the actress is currently acting in the Telugu remake of 96 and also shooting for her upcoming web series, The Family Man Season 2.
