Samantha In Pink Remake?

If ongoing buzz in the media is to be believed, Samantha Akkineni will share the screen space with Power Star Pawan Kalyan in his upcoming remake of Bollywood film Pink.

The makers have officially confirmed that Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in the industry with Pink remake, jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Now as per the sources, the makers are planning to rope Samantha Akkineni in the film.

Pawan Kalyan will reprise Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original film and has allotted only 20 days for the shooting. Sriram Venu will helm this film. It is worth mentioning that Pawan Kalyan bid adieu to films because of his political commitments and somehow, now he has decided to don the greasepaint again.

Director Sriram Venu also has Stylish Star Allu Arjun starrer film in his kitty. As per the sources, the shooting of the Allu Arjun starrer will begin soon after the direction part is done with Pink remake. In the meantime, Allu Arjun will complete Trivikram Srinivas’ Ala Vaikunthapuramlo and Sukumar’s untitled project.

Previously, Samantha and Pawan have worked together for Attarintiki Daredi. If everything goes accordingly, the official statement regarding the inclusion of Samantha will be made soon.
