Samantha To Essay A Negative Role In Her Next

At present, Tollywood actress Samantha has been handling multiple projects like Yashoda, Shaakuntalam, Kushi and now, the upcoming movie of Vijay Thalapathy and Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Recently, we have informed you that the star actress will essay an antagonist in Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial. As per latest buzz, it is heard that she will be seen as a negative cop in the film. Lokesh has allotted her in a completely contrast character to play in this untitled film. Already, Sam had amused everyone as an antagonist in the web series Family Man 2 and this movie marks her second to appear as a villain.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, it is an out-and-out action drama that is likely to start its shoot in October. Recently, Lokesh has achieved success with an action thriller Vikram and interestingly, he is planning to retain the crew of Vikram film and some of the cast members for this fresh movie.

The movie may has Narain, Arjun Das and Jafer, who essayed titular roles in Khadi as well as Vikram. There are talks that the movie might be co-produced by Kamal Haasan under Raj Kamal Films International, along with Lalith Kumar of Seven Screen Studios.
