Shatrughan Sinha will no Longer be Treated as VIP at Patna Airport
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shatrughan Sinha will no longer be treated like a VIP at the Patna Airport, said a senior official.
On December 31, Rajendra Singh Lahauriya, Director at Jay Prakash Narayan Airport said that Shatrughan Sinha, who was earlier treated as a VIP and exempted from security checks and regular frisking, will no longer hold the privilege.
The former Union Minister was allowed to bring his vehicle to the tarmac and was exempted from the security frisking.
Mr Lauhariya answering the questions asked about the facilities being given to the former Union Minister said, “The facilities were extended to Mr Sinha for a period of time which ended in June this year. No orders have been received for extending it.”
