Sourav Ganguly Tests COVID-19 Negative, To Undergo Routine ECG

The former India captain Sourav Ganguly was admitted to a hospital yesterday morning after he complained of chest pain and dizziness while working out in his home gym. He was rushed by his wife Dona and elder brother at 1 pm to private hospital. Sourav was admitted to ICU- intensive critical care unit and was examined. Currently the BCCI President is undergoing primary angioplasty at the hospital. As per the latest update, the condition of the cricketer Sourav Ganguly is stable.”
The doctor said that he is undergoing primary angioplasty now and later they are going to decide on how many stent insertions is required for him. He had an acute myocardial infarction and has received loading doses of dual antiplatelets. The doctor, Dr Aftab Khan, who is treating Sourav Ganguly said, “We will now take a decision how to clear the blockages in the rest two arteries and he is under observation and will be at the hospital at least for the next 4 to 5 days.”
As per the latest update on his health, he has also tested negative for COVID-19 and he will have a routine ECG (electrocardiogram) test later in the day time. The medical experts said that they are keeping constant vigil on his health situation and taking appropriate actions from time to time.
