TDP's Lokesh Vows Youth Skill Development Program Within 100 Days
Nara Lokesh, the national General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has pledged to launch a comprehensive skill development initiative for the youth within the first 100 days of assuming power following the upcoming elections. Speaking at an interactive session with local youth in Nellore district, Lokesh emphasized the critical importance of upskilling to capitalize on the abundant opportunities available globally.
Echoing TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu's commitment, Lokesh assured that the first signature on orders for a Mega DSC notification would be affixed by Naidu himself. Introducing the party's candidates for various positions in the district, Lokesh portrayed them as agents of progress, citing their instrumental roles in shaping Nellore's infrastructure.
Lauding Dr. Narayana's contributions during the previous TDP administration, particularly in providing essential amenities, Lokesh credited his own success to the mentorship of Dr. Narayana, founder of the Narayana group of educational institutions.
In a scathing critique of the incumbent YSRCP regime, Lokesh highlighted the alleged lack of development in Nellore district over the past five years. He lamented the neglect of initiatives undertaken during the TDP's tenure, such as the construction of TIDCO houses for the underprivileged and the implementation of an underground drainage system to combat mosquito infestation.
Promising that Dr. Narayana would prioritize the completion of pending projects and deliver them to the people of Nellore upon assuming power, Lokesh urged the electorate to vote for TDP for a "triple engine growth" in the region.
