TSRTC is Ready to End Strike on Condition!

The Telangana RTC JAC has said that it is ready to end the strike if the Telangana government allows TSRTC employees to re-join their services. JAC convener Ashwathama Reddy has interacted with the media and said that the High Court transferred the case to Labour Court.
“We respect the decision of Telangana High Court and there is 2 weeks time for Labour court to look into our demands. The government should respond immediately to our demands and put them in front of the Labour Court,” Ashwathama Reddy said.
“If the government takes the employees back to the jobs unconditionally, we are ready to end the strike,” he added.
He asked the government to create Oct 4th sort of circumstances. “If the government continues to ignore us, we would continue the strike without any second thought," he said.
TSRTC strike is on its 48th day but the government till now hasn’t called the employees for the talk. Though 2 people died, during the strike, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is not caring for it.
Some political parties, leaders and teachers distributed rice bags to the employees as they have not received salaries for more than a month now. TSRTC employees began the strike on October 5 in support of merging the corporation with government, pay revision, recruitment to various posts and other demands.
Recently, the union declared that they are going to leave the main demand for merging with the government, but all other demands must be fulfilled.
