Telangana Reports 45 New Cases
The graph of coronavirus cases seems to follow an upward trend as 45 new cases of COVID-19 positive were reported in the state, taking the total to 229. Two more people died of coronavirus in Telangana, taking the death toll in the state to 11.
These two deaths and all new cases have been known to have been linked to the Tabligh-e-Jamaat in Nizamuddin, Delhi. The government has identified all those who came in contact with the deceased and also sent the report to the union government. However, the good news is that around 17 people have been discharged on April 3, taking the total number of cured people to 34.
Six labs are working round the clock in three shifts to conduct tests on the samples collected from those who attended Tablighi congregation and their family members who are showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Looking at the condition, the government has urged the citizens to cooperate with the government’s lockdown to help control the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
