Telangana Reports 983 Cases Of COVID-19 And 4 Deaths On Sunday
As many as 983 cases of COVID-19 and four fatalities were reported in the state of Telangana by Sunday evening, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Out of all the 14,419 cases, 9,000 cases are active and 247 deaths have been reported, while 5,172 have, so far, been discharged. Also, 244 patients were discharged from the hospital on Sunday.
Out of the 983 cases, 816 were reported from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), followed by Ranga Reddy district with 47 cases, 33 from Mancherial, 29 from Medchal, 19 from Warangal Rural, 12 from Warangal Urban, five from BhadradriKothagudem, three each positive cases from Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Siddipet and Khammam, two positive cases each from Adilabad and Gadwal and one positive case each from Sangareddy.
This high trend in positive cases is observed since the state government launched the initiative of 50,000 tests in 10 days. So, as the number of tests in a single day rises, so does the turned our positive cases of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Rao’s government is planning to impose a 15-Days Lockdown in the state capital as the capital crosses the 12,000 mark in the past days.
