Telangana Reports Highest Single-Day Spike Of 2,579 Cases
Telangana, on Monday reported the highest single-day spike of 2,579 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths that takes the cumulative number of cases in the state to 1,08,670 and total deaths to 770.
Meanwhile, the total number of active cases in the State are 23,737 whereas 1,752 persons recovered by Monday, which has pushed the overall number of recoveries in the State to 84,163. The recovery rate in the state went high upto 77.44 percent while the countrywide recovery rate was 75.27 percent.
According to stats, 46.13% have died of Covid-19 and 53.87% due to co-morbidities in the state. These figures, however, remained unchanged from the day the new bulletin is being issued.
The Covid-19 cases reported from the districts include 34 from Adilabad, 83 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 295 from areas under the GHMC, 98 from Jagtiyal, 46 from Jangaon, 12 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 47 from Jogulamba Gadwal.
While other cases were reported from Kamareddy at 64, 116 from Karimnagar, 161 from Khammam, 10 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 69 from Mahabubnagar, 81 from Mahabubabad, 104 from Mancherial, 42 from Medak, 106 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 16 from Mulugu.
