Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had requested the Karnataka Counterpart HD Kumaraswamy, for release of some water from Narayanpura reservoir, in Karnataka to Jurala in Telangana. As the water levels substantially coming down in the district of Mahbubnagar in Telangana.
Karnataka immediately has agreed to release 2.50 TMC of water, Kumaraswamy with no time wasted not only agreed to provide the water but also called up Rao to inform him about the decision, and that the water supply to Jurala will be commenced from Friday evening.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao thanked him for the decision made and mentioned that it was a real help.
Both of the chief ministers have expressed their gratitude’s and also have wished that the cordial relationship, between not only the two CMs but also between two states, should be continued forever.
In this world where hatred is picking up the pace, the cordial relationships between the two states are very important.
