Terrorists entered Kashmir in December

According to Intelligence sources, it was known that a squad of 21-member belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed infiltrated into Kashmir in December 2018 to launch three suicide attacks against India.

It was also known that JeM chief Masood Azhar tasked the members to take revenge for killing his nephew Usman Haidar in October last year as well as hanging Afzal Guru who was convicted for his role in 2001 Parliamentary attack. Masood Azhar’s other nephew Mohammad Umair along with Ghazi was sent to lead the bomb attacks.

A video of Azhar’s younger brother Rauf addressing the public on February 5^th warning Indian government of suicide attacks if they went ahead with the building of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Highly trained and heavily armed squads were supposed to divide into two groups led by Mudassir Khan and Shaheed Baba. But Baba was killed by armed forces of India in an encounter near Druvgam in Pulwama on February 1^st.

The two squads procured 16 vehicles with numbers registered between 1990 and 1995 to avoid being detected easily, said the sources.
