Smart virtual assistants like Google assistant and Siri are gaining popularity among the people and now it is WhatsApp which is entering this field to amuse the audience with its latest cool mic feature for all its Android and IOS users. WhatsApp has introduced this features in its latest update 2.19.11 which along with the mic also introduces new privacy reply features.

With this update, you would see a small black mic on your keyboard. With the help of this, there would no longer be any need to type your messages. You can just speak and WhatsApp will write and send messages for you.

How to use it?

Firstly ensure that you have the WhatsApp updated with its latest version. Then to use it open your WhatsApp and go to the chat box of a person whom you want to send a message. WhatsApp keyboard will pop up there in a window and you’ll see black mic at the top right side of the keyboard. Click on that mic and start dictating your message, you need to hit send button manually to send the message.

However, there are certain hurdles in this new feature introduced by WhatsApp which includes the grammar and punctuation marks. WhatsApp makes errors in identifying few punctuation marks like a hyphen, semicolon and it is when you might need to manually edit the text.

The privacy feature which also comes with the update, lets you send a message to a group member without letting other members knowing about it. These 2 cool features will change the way we communicate and yet this is just the beginning and there is a lot to come.
