Tollywood star couple supports handloom weavers

Mahesh Babu and Namrata extended their support to the women of Narayanpet, Telangana who are running Aarunya Narayanpet. The handloom weavers are very happy with their support.

Namrata took to social media and shared an image where she is seen with women who are running Aarunya Narayanpet.

We are aware of the news that Telanagna state government has tied up with Life Insurance Corporation of India for ‘Nethanna Beema’ scheme and designated the state department of handlooms and textiles as the nodal agency for its implementation.

The government is going to pay the insurance premium to the LIC on behalf of the weavers. Committees of weavers are being formed at the district and state levels and the government has already allocated Rs 50 crore for this scheme, and of this Rs 25 crore has already been sanctioned.

On the professional front, Mahesh Babu has joined the sets of his next upcoming movie which is tentatively titled SSMB28. Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the female lead and the movie marks her second collaboration with Mahesh after Maharshi. It is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and the movie will be released next year.
