Tollywood’s Movies Postponed In View Of Covid-19

With the rapidly rising of Coronavirus cases, many states in the country are now stepping towards strict social distancing measures in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus. As a part of it, many places have already imposed 50% seating capacity in many theatres.
As per the latest news, the seating capacity restrictions will also be imposed in Telugu states and the state governments of both the states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are planning to implement them from April 15 to 30.
In view of this, many releases from Tollywood are now postponing their movie release dates.
Nani’s film Tuck Jagadish, which was planned to release on 23 of this month, is now postponed to May 1. Helmed by Shiva Nirvana, the movie is bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner Shine Screens.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s much-anticipated film, Love Story has already announced the postponement of the film and the new release date is on May 13, on the eve of Ramzan. Helmed by Sekhar Kammula, the film is produced by Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas.
Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya is a big project that the fans are desperately waiting for and the movie was scheduled for May 13, but now it has been postponed to August 13, helmed by Koratala Siva, the movie has Ram Charan in a crucial role. It is jointly bankrolled by Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainment.
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, helmed by Sukumar, was supposed to hit the theatres on August 13. With the delay in shooting and other reasons, the film is aiming to release the movie on December 17th.
Rajamouli’s RRR announced its release date for 13 October. But considering the latest situation, the movie is skipping its release date and the new date will be announced shortly.
