What Is CM Jagan’s Restart Model To Strengthen Msmes In State

To bring effective production and strengthening in the Micro, Small and Medium Scale sectors, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a program called ‘Restart Model’.
As part of this, Rs 1,110 crore will be sanctioned to MSMEs in the state in two phases. This would also help them deal with the situations arising due to lockdown in the country.
In a video conference held with the representatives of MSMEs at his Camp office in Tadepally, YS Jaganemphasized on the need to protect MSMEs in the state and also said that the government would do its best to help them in tough times.
“There is a need to protect small and medium-sized enterprises. As part of this, the government has been paying back the dues of the last government subsidy and the electricity tariff has been waived for three months as industries are shut down due to the lockdown, “ the CM said.
CM Jagan has also directed the officials to identify the volume of workers required. CM has also announced that it will waive Rs 187 crore fixed electricity charges. A special fund is being set up with Rs 200 crore for management capital loans.
