When KTR comes back, the BRS list is likely to change in big ways.
It is clear that KCR made a calculated move when he announced 115 candidates at the same time. This caught the BJP and Congress parties, which were in opposition, by surprise. But despite this strategic move, there is growing disagreement and anger among sitting members in several districts, as well as among people who want to get on the ballot and key leaders in the BRS party.
Some of these members are even thinking about leaving the BRS party.
Others who are acting as reps or trying to get on the ticket plan to talk to their friends, organisers, and followers about what they want to do in the future.
This pattern of party leaders questioning their own leadership, holding hidden meetings, and talking with Congress and BJP about other options is common. Still, reputable sources within the BRS say that getting the B-Form might be hard for about 20 of the candidates named by KCR.
This strategy of releasing the list first and then making changes and additions to it later could be meant to hurt the party's core. Leaders of the BRS are worried that if they are told to give out tickets at the last minute, even if they rebel and join another party, it will make them less powerful. Changing to a new platform could be hard in some ways.
Minister KTR is currently out of the country, but he should be back in Hyderabad soon. Even though KTR insisted on making a lot of changes, KCR didn't listen to these ideas. When KTR comes back, changes and improvements are likely.
While that was going on, KCR didn't give tickets to some of his friends who wanted them. There is a chance that some of these people will get tickets after KTR comes back.
In the joint Khammam area, there is strong opposition in places like Kodada, Illandu, Nagarjuna Sagar, Uppal, Asifabad, Mahabubabad, Bellampally, Manthani, Kothagudem, Warangal East, Malkajigiri, Kalvakurti, Peddapally, Ramagundam, Cantonment, Manakondur, and others. Even though polls were done, nothing good has happened for the chosen candidates.
