Actor Mammootty has shared a new pic on his Twitter handle from his upcoming film ‘Mamangam’. The pic is something that no one expects from this Megastar. Mammootty looked unique and his looks and smile are very different as we may even get a doubt that if he playing a transgender role! But, to the fact, the actor is playing the role of a warrior who fights with the Zamorin rulers. Prachi Tehlan is playing the female lead of the film. M Padmakumar has directed the movie while Venu Kunnappilly under the Kavya Film Company has produced it.

The teaser of Mamangam which was recently released got a hugely positive response and it went viral in no time. This has given confidence to the movie team that the film would be a big success. Tarun Arora, Unni Mukundan, Anu Sithara, Kaniha, Iniya among others are playing key roles. Mammootty is said to have major fight sequences in the film. Apart from the hero, other actors will also do some mind-blowing action scenes in the movie. The film is slated for a release on December 12.

Mamangam is actually made in Malayalam but it is also being dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi simultaneously. Initially, Sajeev Pillai was roped in to direct the film, but, as the producers were not satisfied with his work, they roped in Padmakumar to helm the project.
