Zomato Delivery Boy Files Counter-Complaint Against Hitesha

In the last few days, news of differences between a young woman claiming to be social media influencer and a Zomato delivery boy has been creating quite excitement on social media. It has been stated that a Zomato delivery boy attacked the female customer Hitesha Chandrani, who has cancelled her order due to a delay in delivery. Later the delivery person, named Kamaraj was arrested by the Bangalore police.
Surprisingly, Kamaraj has filed a case against the woman, who is currently out on bail. The police action against Hitesha, followed a counter-complaint by the delivery person. Kamaraj had denied all allegations made on him by the woman that he barged in her home and punched on her nose.
Kamaraj said that he has apologized for handing the order late due to traffic jam and he asked for the food to be returned as the order was cancelled. But she denied and he was accused of using obscene language and even hurled a shoe on him. In this order the woman inadvertently wounded herself. Eventually, Hitesh acomplained to the police of Banglore that he had assaulted her. In fact, the woman insulted him with obscene language. That’s why he filed a case against her. As per the complaint filed by Kamaraj, the police have registered a case against the woman under sections 341, 355 and 504 of the IPC.
Bollywood actress, Parineeti Chopra has come forward in support of Kamaraj, after he shared his side of the story. Many people came out in his support. Now, the actress has urged the food delivery company to find the truth and state it publicly. In her tweet, she wrote, “Zomato India - Please find and publicly report the truth... If the gentleman is innocent (and I believe he is), please help us penalise the woman in question. This is inhuman, shameful and heartbreaking ... Please let me know how I can help...”.
She is the first Bollywood celebrity for supporting a normal delivery person.
