Nara Lokesh Rallying Support for TDP in Visakhapatnam
Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of TDP, recently engaged with the public and party members across various constituencies in Visakhapatnam. He pledged unwavering support for the Visakha Steel Plant, vowing to bolster its operations once TDP-Janasena assumes power. Lokesh reiterated the party's rallying cry, "Hello AP and Bye Bye YSRCP," emphasizing the need for change.
Challenging YSRCP's rhetoric, Lokesh posed pertinent questions regarding crucial issues such as the fate of the Vizag Steel Plant, completion of the Polavaram project, implementation of a job calendar, and addressing Group I and II posts, as well as advocating for complete prohibition. He urged Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to address these pressing concerns.
Lokesh criticized the current government for its frequent hikes in power prices, house tax, garbage tax, and RTC charges. He lauded the TDP's past initiatives in Andhra Pradesh, including the introduction of welfare schemes like NTR's Kilo Rice at Rs 2 and advocating for equal rights for women in property.
Promising significant financial assistance to farmers and households, Lokesh underscored the TDP's commitment to socioeconomic welfare. He condemned alleged irregularities in Ph.D. seat allocations at AU and pledged to investigate the matter if TDP assumes power.
Highlighting the resilience of TDP's cadre, Lokesh assured them of future opportunities and urged them to mobilize public opinion against YSRCP's policies. He pledged to address various grievances, including the removal of toll gates and advocating for the interests of displaced persons. Additionally, Lokesh vowed to challenge any attempts to sell Steel Plant lands and affirmed TDP's unwavering support for the steel industry.
