Raashi Khanna: A Tollywood Comeback on the Horizon?
Once a prominent figure in Tollywood, Raashi Khanna endeared herself to audiences with her charming debut in "Oohalu Gusagusalade." With subsequent films like "Bengal Tiger," "Tholi Prema," and "Prati Roju Pandage," she seemed poised for continued success. However, a series of setbacks, including several box office disappointments such as "World Famous Lover," "Pakka Commercial," and "Thank You," slowed her momentum. Following a year-long absence from Telugu cinema post-"Thank You," Raashi turned her attention towards Bollywood and Kollywood.
Just when it appeared that her Telugu career was waning, Raashi Khanna staged a remarkable comeback. She now stars opposite Sidhu Jonnalagadda in "Telusu Kada," directed by Neeraja Kona. With Sidhu’s recent success in "Tillu Square," the film is anticipated to generate substantial buzz. Additionally, Raashi has secured another promising opportunity in the film "Robin Hood," alongside Nithiin under the direction of Venky Kudumula. While Rashmika Mandanna was initially considered for the lead role, Raashi Khanna stepped in after her, indicating a significant resurgence in her career trajectory. Reports suggest that Raashi might also play a pivotal role in the project, further solidifying her comeback. If these ventures prove successful, Raashi Khanna is poised to reclaim her position as a prominent figure in Tollywood.
