Sai Tej's Charitable Donations to the Amma Orphanage
Known for his philanthropy and having been influenced by his uncle, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Sai Durgha Tej has once again demonstrated his dedication to charitable causes.
He contributed a total of Rs 20 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Relief Funds, each of Rs 10 lakhs, in response to the recent floods in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He also donated Rs 5 lakhs to several organizations, including the Amma Foundation.
After the floods, he personally visited Vijayawada and gave Rs 2 lakhs to the Amma Orphanage and Rs 3 lakhs to other charities. Beyond only providing money, he engaged with the senior citizens and demonstrated a great deal of empathy.
He finished the orphanage's new building by 2021, as he had pledged in 2019. For three years, Sai Durgha Tej also adopted the orphanage, paying for all of the costs and making frequent trips to make sure the children were doing well.
