TDP's Lokesh Accuses CM Jagan of Deceptive Welfare Schemes and Excessive Taxation
TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh criticized Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for what he alleges as deceptive practices in welfare schemes. Lokesh accused the government of providing nominal benefits while burdening the public with excessive taxes and increased prices of essential goods. He described Jagan as skilled at manipulation but lacking in genuine concern for the people's welfare. Highlighting discontinued schemes and suspended benefits, Lokesh urged the public to see through what he calls false propaganda by the YSRC ahead of elections.
He portrayed the upcoming electoral contest as a battle between Jagan's ego and the people's self-respect, dismissing Jagan's portrayal of the election as a fight between the poor and the wealthy. Lokesh asserted that Jagan's assets, allegedly acquired through unethical means, rightfully belong to the public. He pledged that a future TDP-JSP government would redistribute such assets for public benefit.
Additionally, Lokesh criticized the extravagant spending on projects like the Yatra movie and questioned the necessity of expensive constructions amidst alleged land grabbing in Visakhapatnam. He emphasized the importance of TDP and Jana Sena Party's proposed Super Six schemes, promising their effective implementation to address the real concerns of the common people.
