7 Out of 137 Billionaires From Hyderabad: Global Rich List 2020

Hurun Global Rich List 2020 is out and it lists 2,816 billionaires from across the globe. 137 Billionaires made it from India, with Hyderabad itself, home to 7 such Billionaires.

With a net worth of 4.3 Billion US dollars, Murali Divi, the founder of Divi laboratories based in Hyderabad was ranked at the 589th position.

The founder of Megha Engineering enterprises P Pitchi Reddy is at 1,530th position with a net worth of 1.9 billion US dollars. He is considered as Telangana’s construction giant.

Managing Director of Megha constructions P.V Krishna Reddy also made to the list with a net worth of 1.8 Billion US dollars and is at the 1067th position.

Jupally Rameshwar Rao, the founder of My Home Group and chairman of a TV9 news channel, is in 2000th position with a net worth of 1.5 billion US dollars.

Newly added to the list is Owner of Reddy laboratories K Satish Reddy from Hyderabad held at 2,276th position. His net worth is estimated at 1 billion US dollars.

GV Prasad & G Anuradha of Doctor Reddy’s laboratory are also new additions to the list. They are the founders of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories with a net worth of 1 billion US dollars and are at the 2,642 position.

The state previously had 7 Billionaires and 8200 Millionaires. This year, India saw a steady rise in the number of Billionaires with 33 new Billionaires this year. Apart from the 137 Billionaires based in India, there are 32 NRIs who are a part of the Global Rich List.
