Joe Biden to be United States’ 46th President, Donald Trump Confront the Decision

After a long wait and days of an aggressive campaign by the parties and counting of a huge number of votes, Joe Biden has been elected as the 46th president of the United States on Saturday after winning Pennsylvania.
The call came at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday after a report of more counted votes from Pennsylvania. Biden is expected to speak at 8 p.m. Eastern time tonight.
Biden had already maintained his Electoral College lead over Trump and had overtaken the president in several states including Georgia and Pennsylvania. But his victory came after he crossed 270 Electoral College votes with a win in Pennsylvania.
Biden’s victory was driven by strong support from groups including women, African Americans, white voters with college degrees and city-dwellers.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has challenged US election results in court next week after media outlets called the race for Democrat Joe Biden, saying "this election is far from over."
“We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed,” he said in a statement. “The simple fact is this election is far from over.”
