AR Rahman Says ‘No Politics’!

Two years back, popular music director AR Rahman asked his fans to come up with beautiful lyrics for his hit song ‘Urvashi’, saying that he will recreate the magical song for MTV Unplugged Season 6. And fans back then came up with crazy lyrics and Rahman sang the song along with Suresh Peters.

Again, last night, Rahman did the same announcement. He took to Twitter and asked his fans to use their creative mind and send their amazing lyrics for ‘Urvashi’. Rahman said that he will choose the best lines and sing the recreated version of Urvashi at his upcoming live in concert in Chennai. He also said “No Politics, please recreate Urvashi” as his final words.

‘Urvashi Urvashi’ is the youth anthem when the song was released in 1993. Prabhudeva and Nagma are leads.
