Aadarsh Balakrishna becomes RAW agent!

The cricketer-turned-actor Aadharsh Balakrishna is primarily known for his negative roles in films. His movies like Babu Baga Busy, PSV Garuda Vega, Vijetha and W/O Ram have strongly maintained his ‘bad-guy’ image. However, the actor is going for an image makeover in this next movie.

Aadharsh will be playing the role of a RAW agent in Chanakya. This upcoming Gopichand’ movie is a spy-thriller. When Aadharsh was asked, how does he feel about this change, he said, “It’s been a while since I played a positive character, so it comes as a huge relief. I play a RAW agent who works with Gopi on an operation. A total patriot who’s extremely family-oriented as well, he’s a no-nonsense guy who talks to the point and takes his job seriously. The role has a certain ‘thairao’ (gravitas) about it and I’m enjoying it thoroughly”.

If reports are to be believed, Aadharsh’s avatar in the film will be entirely different from his previous roles. He also told that he has done some serious action sequences for the film. He added, “As a kid, I was always fascinated by spies and to have got to play one is really gratifying. I hope the audience will enjoy my performance as much as I loved playing the role”

On the work front, Aadarsh was last seen as a henchman in Trivikram’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. His upcoming movie Ranarangam will be released on Independence Day.
