Acharya Makers On Plagiarism Controversy

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Acharya’ has landed in trouble after the motion poster of it got released. Writer Rajesh Mandoori claimed that the story of Acharya was his script! According to the writer, he narrated the script to Mythri Movie Makers a few years ago and the story has been passed to Koratala Shiva.

He alleged that Koratala has narrated it to Chiranjeevi and making the film ‘Acharya’ now. Hearing this, the makers of Acharya ridiculed what Rajesh said and called the allegations ‘baseless’. The makers urged everyone to not believe anything without any solid proof.

The makers released a press note confirming that the story is written by Koratala Shiva alone and any claims that said the story is a copy are baseless. The note also made it clear that the story is an original one. Also, makers said that it is unacceptable to defame a popular director like Koratala Siva.

Directed by Shiva, the film is being produced by Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the leading lady while Ram Charan is playing a key role in the film. It is also said that makers are going to rope in either Kiara Advani or Keerthy Suresh to play opposite Charan!
